| MISSION STATEMENT The Mission of the Memphis Blues Rugby Club is to create a competitive, championship caliber rugby team fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie while promoting the development and growth of rugby in the mid-south. VISION STATEMENT The vision of the Memphis Blues Rugby Club is to be recognized as a premier rugby club in the South Territorial Union, and to win the Division III National Championship. VALUES STATEMENT How we accomplish our Mission is as important as the Mission itself. The fundamentals to the success of the Memphis Blues Rugby Club are these basic values: * PLAYERS Our players are the source of our strength. Their performance and commitment determines both our reputation and viability. Investment in teamwork is essential, and as a team we must treat each other with trust and respect while elevating our performance. * SPONSORS The support of our benefactors is critical to our success. Because they have a choice in which organizations they endorse, our behavior whether on or off the field shall reflect our professionalism and our appreciation for the generosity they have provided. * COMMITMENT To achieve success we must concentrate our efforts on developing and enhancing our level of fitness, skill, and knowledge of the game in order to raise our performance to that of championship caliber. Equally important is our responsibility in the development of rugby within our community in order to perpetuate the game we love. |
